Q1: What is the difference between lightweight, all-season, and winter-weight down comforters?


A: We offer three warmth levels designed for different climates and sleep preferences:

  • Lightweight: Ideal for hot sleepers or summer use—filled with 500-fill-power down for breathability. Perfect for temperate climates (65–75°F).
  • All-Season: The most versatile option—filled with 600-fill-power down to balance warmth and breathability. Great for year-round use (55–65°F).
  • Winter-Weight: For cold sleepers or winter use—filled with 700-fill-power down for maximum insulation. Ideal for cold climates (below 55°F) or drafty bedrooms.

All our down comforters are hypoallergenic and feature a 100% cotton shell to prevent down leakage.

Q2: Are your latex pillows organic? Do they have a strong smell?


A: Yes! All our latex pillows are made from 100% organic Dunlop latex—certified by the Global Organic Latex Standard (GOLS). Organic latex has a mild, natural scent when first unboxed, but this fades within 2–3 days of airing the pillow out.

We offer three firmness levels:

  • Soft: Ideal for stomach sleepers—provides gentle neck support.
  • Medium: Perfect for back sleepers—balances support and comfort.
  • Firm: Best for side sleepers—offers maximum neck alignment for pressure relief.

Q3: How do I care for my down comforter and latex pillow to make them last longer?


A: Proper care is key to extending the life of your mgrey Store bedding:

  • Down Comforters: Spot clean minor stains with a mild detergent. Machine wash on a gentle cycle with cold water only when necessary—use a front-loading washer to avoid damage. Tumble dry on low heat with 2–3 clean tennis balls to fluff the down and prevent clumping.
  • Latex Pillows: Do not machine wash or dry! Spot clean with a damp cloth and mild soap—air dry completely before use. Avoid exposing the pillow to direct sunlight (can cause latex degradation). Store in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Q4: Do you offer local pickup for your bedding products?


A: Yes! You can choose in-store pickup at our Gatlinburg location (619 JESS FIELD RD) during checkout to save on shipping costs. We’ll notify you via email when your order is ready (usually 2–3 business days for in-stock items).

Pickup hours are Monday–Saturday (10 AM–6 PM ET) and Sunday (12 PM–4 PM ET). Please bring a photo ID and your order confirmation email when you arrive.

Q5: What is the warranty for your down comforters and latex pillows?


A: We offer limited warranties to cover manufacturing defects (not normal wear, misuse, or accidental damage):

  • Down Comforters: 5-year warranty (covers down clumping, shell tearing, and fill leakage).
  • Latex Pillows: 3-year warranty (covers permanent flattening, core cracking, and shape deformation).

To claim warranty service, email us with your order number, photos of the defect, and a description of when the problem started—we resolve claims within 3 business days.

Q6: Do you ship to all U.S. states? What are the shipping costs?


A: Yes—mgrey Store ships to all 50 U.S. states, Puerto Rico, and U.S. territories:

  • Standard Shipping: Free on all orders over $75 (for mainland U.S.). For orders under $75, shipping fees are $8.99 (pillows) and $19.99 (comforters).
  • Express Shipping: $24.99 (pillows) / $34.99 (comforters) — delivered in 2–5 business days for mainland U.S.
  • Alaska/Hawaii & Territories: A $25 surcharge applies to all shipments—delivery takes 7–14 business days.
